At Happy Paws, dogs do more than just play all day. Every daycare visit includes supervised socialization, daily enrichment activities, and trainer-led group sessions designed to keep dogs mentally engaged and physically active.
With the largest indoor daycare facility in DC and four separate play areas, dogs rotate throughout the day between structured activities, enrichment, and social play in a safe and engaging environment.

A full day of supervised social play, enrichment rotations, and trainer-led activities designed to keep dogs active, engaged, and fulfilled from drop-off to pickup.

Take Your Dog’s Day Even Further With Optional 1-on-1 Training Add-Ons
In addition to the daily enrichment activities already included with daycare, we offer personalized training add-ons focused on your dog’s individual goals and behavior needs. These one-on-one sessions with our trainers may include loose leash walking, no jumping, recall, confidence building, impulse control, focus work, and more!
Training add-ons are perfect for providing extra personalized attention alongside your dog’s regular enrichment experience at Happy Paws. If you’re interested in add-ons, they can be added to your reservation on the pet parent portal or you can give us a call at 202-763-7297.
Meet & Greet
Before placing a dog with us, our trainers assess their size, age, personality, play style, and pet parent preferences. While your pup is spending time with us, we will monitor signs of hunger, fatigue, changes in behavior to make sure everyone plays nice and is enjoying the time spent at Happy Paws. We will also let you know if there are any issues you may want to address.

Daycare Requirements
Pets must be vaccinated against Rabies, Canine Flu, Distemper and Bordetella.

Advance planning is key. First, schedule your Meet & Greet so we can all get to know each other. And then bring in your dog for a few hour-long play dates to make sure he or she is ready to learn, gets along with others in the group and can happily participate in the games and activities.
